This holiday season, JCPenney teamed up with some of the NFL’s top players to bring a little extra cheer to America’s diverse, working families through its annual tradition of gifting shopping sprees to deserving families. In a year where a tough economic environment is impacting shoppers everywhere, JCPenney is on a mission to connect with our communities to make the holidays mean more, not cost more. With some help from NFL athletes Zack Martin, Will Levis and Jordan Davis, families had the opportunity to shop in-store and select gifts for themselves and their families ahead of the Christmas holiday.

On December 5 in Frisco, TX, at JCPenney store #2795, Zack Martin of the Dallas Cowboys hosted 20 kids from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas for a shopping excursion. With help from Martin and the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, each child was able to select gifts for themselves or their family members to make the holidays extra special.

In Franklin, TN, on December 12, Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis surprised 20 kids from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee with gift cards to shop for the holiday season at JCPenney store #1081. The appearance was made even more special because it took place just one day after the Titans delivered a thrilling come-from-behind win against the Miami Dolphins.

To round out the giving season, Jordan Davis from the Philadelphia Eagles treated six foster families to a shopping spree at the Deptford Mall in New Jersey, JCPenney store #2775, on December 19. Each family received $500 in JCPenney gift cards courtesy of Davis, and JCPenney provided an extra $100 per child to each family with more than three children to shop for everything they need.

Thank you to Zack Martin, Will Levis and Jordan Davis for helping JCPenney make the holidays count.
